"Just a note to tell you of the great experience while staying at stoney creek in Quincy, IL. I am a retired Fedex Ceo. and have traveled to numerous location in my 30 years with them.  Prior to leaving for my trip that morning  I received a call from them informing me that the pool heater was not in operation and did I still want to keep my reservation. Since the Corp. I retired from actually sells a service, I was very impressed to receive this call. Your staff was very professional,  friendly, and caring. Our stay was awesome.."

"I wanted to send my heart felt thanks to the Quincy, IL Stoney Creek Inn.  My two young kids and I missed our train out of Quincy on Christmas morning.  We had to wait all day to take the next train.  The Stoney Creek manager allowed us to stay in our room and use the pool all day while we waited to be with our family for Christmas.  You saved what could have been a very sad Christmas for two young kids.  Thank you!"

"Dear Sir, I have had the pleasure of staying at your Stoney Creek Inn location on several occasions.  I come to Quincy on business and also pleasure, as my son attends Quincy University.Your staff has always been pleasant and professional.  I would like you to know that your staff member, Gail, has went above and beyond to call of duty...  My daughter and I were there over the weekend and she left her wallet in the room.  I called and Gail checked lost and found, then checked the room.  She found the wallet under the bed.  I asked if she would be willing to mail the drivers license and that my son would pick up the wallet the following morning.  She was more than willing to help me.  Knowing that it would have been just as easy to say nothing was turned in, lets me know that you have an honest employee who works hard to help your guests.I very much appreciate her help and wanted you to know."
